Throughout my childhood, every October my family would go out to Greenbluff to go pumpkin and apple picking (a family tradition). There was always so much for us to do here. There were great festivities and amazing music played by local bands.
I always loved testing out different types off apples fresh from the trees. All of Greenbluff is so alive and brings out the fun in everyone! I remember going from place to place around Greenbluff, checking out all of the cool things local people were selling.
I remember getting my picture taken every year sitting on the tree that everyone loved getting pictures taken of on. It seemed like a mascot to the whole place.
Another thing i remember loving is getting to pick out my very own pumpkin every year so i could carve it when i got home for Halloween. I always would go for the biggest of pumpkins (which was probably hilarious watching me trying to lift such a huge pumpkin back then, haha).
There was also always estate sales every year we went here. The people were always selling such nice things, from cars to video games. It was so much fun looking around at all these cool things.
My most favorite thing that we did every year at Greenbluff was the corn maze. It was always so much and I always felt so accomplished when i got to the middle where the giant castle is. I thought all the armor inside the castle was so cool. My most favorite part of the castle would definitely be taking pictures on top of the castle. I felt like i was the "king of the world" when i was up there!
To this day, i still visit Greenbluff every October. It's just a great place to go and it's so much fun!
